Gov. Markett signed the bill on May 11, 2011 during an event held at the World Cafe Live at the Queen. Over 600 people attended this joyous occasion. Civil Unions will take effect 1/1/12. Thanks to everyone who helped to make this possible.
5/1/11 Thank you HAVEN the U of D LGBT organization for allowing us to make a presentation during their parents & friends meeting. Nearly 50 people were in attendance. A truly amazing event.
